Success is a process not a destination

Great things don’t happen overnight. Success is a process that changes and changes you. You need to change, whether it’s the people you usually spend time with, the places you go, or the things you do. These things are sometimes what hold you back from your success. When you want to achieve success, it would be good to know the signs of the process.

1. You may lose some friends.
This may shock you a little, but it is to be expected. People start feeling bad in some way and don’t know how to cope with your changes. It’s not always a bad thing. Some of the people we call friends are not really friends. The process of success has a tendency to select them.

2. You may think you are going crazy.
New habits and changing the way you do things affect our brain. Changing them tends to confuse us, since we ourselves are the ones who interrupt the patterns in our lives. It can make you feel crazy until your brain settles into a new routine, or a new way of doing things. Just breathe and carry on.

3. Pain is inevitable.
Some changes can cause pain, not physical pain, but growing pains. It’s good to think of pain as a lump of coal that under intense pressure turns into a diamond. If the piece of coal said “it’s too painful, I can’t do this” it would never reach the state of diamond. Understand that it is a process.

4. You will lose money.
No one likes to hear this, but we have to be honest. There are many reasons why people lose money. Wrong planning, impulsive purchases, complete misunderstanding of something and many others like these. Or taking risks.

If you are presented with something that costs money, determine how it fits into your business. If not, don’t spend the money. Easier said than done, but don’t worry about losing money. It’s your decisions, learn from them.

5. Family and friends may discourage you.
Mainly this is because of their fear. They see you changing and doing new or different things. Many cannot understand your desire, or your reasons. You don’t owe them an explanation beyond “I’m doing this for a greater purpose than I can explain.” Don’t try to convince them, or defend your decisions. When you get where you’re going, they’ll understand better.

6. Strange habits are formed.
You have changed your models and some of them will look strange. Staying up later, waking up earlier, having a new perspective. You will wonder how you acquired these strange habits. They are part of the process. Some you will keep, and some will only be there at first as you go along. Embrace the weirdness, normality is overrated anyway.

7. People will show hatred towards you for no particular reason.
Many times people may unconsciously become jealous of you. They will say things that make you angry, or make you doubt what you are doing. Mostly it’s that they wish they had the same courage to make the big changes you are making. Don’t take it personally.

8. It will all be worth it.
It may sound like a trying, even discouraging time, but success is a process that continues even after it is achieved. Sustaining success is just as difficult. But it is a difficult and worthwhile process. And it’s worth it!

Why is hard work the key to success (Success) and how does it pay off?

Hard work motivates and rewards you. Being a hard worker is rewarding. When we work hard, we can see our success and achievements. Success isn’t everything, but seeing how far you’ve come is motivating.

1. Hard work shows you are trustworthy.
Another reason why being a hard worker is key to success is because it shows that you are trustworthy. When you are a hard worker, people will take notice of you. Why? Well, why not?
People will start talking when you are known for hard work in your field. In the workplace, people may start asking you to be on their team or want your help to oversee any project they may need help with.

If you own your own business, your products and/or services may become the first choice for your customers because of your credibility.
People want someone who will get things done for them and based on your hard work, they will know who to call. People who need you is a great example of how hard work leads to success!

2. Hard work shows commitment.
When you decide on a path for yourself and work hard to get there, you are committed to that goal. This means you may have to say no to anything that comes up that doesn’t align with your purpose or path.

Saying no to things that don’t serve you and staying focused while working hard shows dedication. Your commitment is what will help you succeed in the workplace and/or in business.Increase Sales By Decorating Your Business This Holiday Season 2023
3. It helps you develop self-discipline.
Hard work means you are able to develop your self-discipline over time. Procrastination can cause you to fail when trying to accomplish the simplest of tasks, yet sometimes we still self-sabotage. Sometimes, we’re not even sure why we do it! But when you focus on hard work, self-discipline will follow. This is another reason why hard work is the key to success!

4. The harder you work, the faster you move forward.
By now you know that hard work pays off. The more you work, the faster you will achieve the results you want. But working hard doesn’t always mean you’ll be able to get everything you want on the first or even second try.

Why courage is the key to great leadership

Throughout the ages, people have searched for the exact alchemy of ingredients that a leader has. Great leaders are said to demonstrate strong but reasoned judgment, risk taking but calculated.
The list of characteristics that make up good leadership is so long and contradictory that the aspiring leader is left asking himself, “Where do I start?” Fortunately, there is a clear starting point. A leadership characteristic or rather, virtue that dominates other characteristics: Courage.

Aristotle called courage the first virtue because it makes all other virtues possible. Besides being the most important human virtue, it is also the most important business virtue.
Think about it: Other important business concepts like leadership, innovation and sales wither in the absence of courage. Leadership requires making bold and often unpopular decisions. Leadership takes courage. Innovation involves creating new ideas that challenge tradition. Innovation takes courage. Selling takes courage. Take away the courage and sales, innovation and leadership lose their power.Increase Sales By Decorating Your Business This Holiday Season 2023

But what do brave people do?

Trust in others – letting go of the need to control situations or outcomes, trusting people and being open to direction and change.
Courage to speak up—raising tough issues, giving tough feedback, and sharing opinions that aren’t very popular.
The good news is that everyone has the ability to be brave!

With less fear and more courage, workers take on more difficult projects, deal better with change, and speak up more willingly about important issues. In short, courageous workers try harder, believe more, and show more. As a business leader and entrepreneur, your job is to instill courage in people and encourage them. By applying the three different types of courage, as well as the tips above, courage can be put to good use in your workplace. What is ChatGPT & How To Use It For Free (2023 Update)
